Engineering Club – Get Charged! - A (1430.s20a)
Dates:
3/18/2020 - 4/15/2020
Description:
Electrical Engineering.
How often do you use electricity? How many different devices in your house use electricity? How many different devices power our world? Let’s get charged as we learn about all kinds of electrical devices, from holiday lights to city power grids. While it may seem simple for us to turn on a switch, Electrical Engineers put a lot of work into designing helpful devices that use energy efficiently. In this module, we will learn what goes on inside electronic devices, including how circuits, switches, and batteries all work together to create light, movement, or sound. Then, we will use this knowledge to build games like “Don’t Touch the Wire” buzzer game, create art with tiny “Wigglebot” robots, and even visit Cromwell’s toy shop to design our own moving toys. no class 3/25
